Jon was voted Best Physiotherapist in Markham for 3 consecutive years (Markham Economist and Sun, 2020, 2021, and 2022).

Before starting his own private practice in Markham, Jon practised with some of the top Orthopaedic Surgeons at Sunnybrook Hospital and Markham Stouffville Hospital for a number of years. He continues to remain on staff and hold Hospital privileges at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Jon is excited to offer 1-on-1 assessment and treatment in a private Gym environment (The Markham Gym). His treatment techniques include acupuncture, dry needling, manual therapy, cupping, therapeutic taping, exercise prescription and patient education. Immanuel completed his Masters of Physical Therapy at York St. Johns University in York, England. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelors of Science in Honors Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo.

His professional sports experience includes working with York City Football Club in England and the Brampton Honey Badgers during the 2026 Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) season.

He has also worked with a wide range of complex conditions across hospital and community settings, including post-surgical recovery, neurological rehablitation, and chronic pain.

Drawing on his background in biomechanics research, Immanuel incorporates manual therapy, joint mobilizations, and therapeutic exercises to support functional recovery for both athletic and general populations.
